This shirt is SOFT! Seriously soft- think "Morgan Freeman reading lullabies" soft.
And the logo REALLY "pops" on this shirt.
The "Dark Grey Heather" version of this shirt will hardly shrink at all when you wash it.
BUT- the Black and White versions of this shirt WILL shrink when you wash it- a good measure, actually. For example- I wear a size "large" in shirts, but with t-shirts, i like to wear "extra large" to give me a bit more room. An extra large in this shirt fit great- until i washed it. Then, suddenly, it went from "nice and roomy" to "I think i ate too much pizza last night"; there was still SOME room in it- but not like the pre-washed state. So, for ME, if i want extra room after the first wash, I'd probably have to buy a 2XL.
So- order "bigger" on this shirt- it will shrink. But it will be VERY comfortable! My wife is using the sample shirts i ordered as night shirts- according to her, they're softer than any night shirt she owns. But, for goodness' sake, wash this shirt in COLD water, inside out- then dry on VERY low heat! (I know- I'm giving laundry advice- which, if you knew me back in the late 80's, when i was a single man fresh out of college, and suddenly responsible for doing his own laundry- you would do ANYTHING but take that advice- unless you, too, wanted your entire wardrobe to slowly morph into the the same dull gray color over time, because you thought you were being super smart in washing all your clothing in super-hot water. But I'm much more intelligenated now....)
